Cervical cancer squamous cell carcinoma cure rate

The cure rate of cervical squamous cell carcinoma generally needs to be judged based on staging. The cure rate is 70-90% in the early stage, 50-70% in the mid-stage, and 20-40% in the late stage. The treatment effect is closely related to tumor stage, treatment plan selection and individual patient differences.

The treatment effect of cervical squamous cell carcinoma is usually evaluated based on the five-year survival rate. In early-stage patients, the tumor is limited to the cervix, and surgical resection combined with radiotherapy can achieve better results. Surgical treatment includes extensive hysterectomy and pelvic lymph node dissection, and some patients require supplementary radiotherapy or concurrent chemoradiotherapy after surgery. For patients with mid-term tumors whose tumors have invaded the parametrial tissue or the upper vaginal segment, comprehensive treatment based on concurrent radiotherapy and chemotherapy is required. In some cases, preoperative neoadjuvant chemotherapy can be considered to shrink the tumor before surgery. In advanced-stage patients, whose tumors have spread outside the pelvic cavity or metastasized to distant sites, systemic chemotherapy and targeted therapy are mainly used to prolong survival. Local radiotherapy can relieve symptoms.

After the patient is diagnosed, imaging examinations and systemic assessments need to be completed, and individualized treatment plans should be formulated after the stage is clarified. During treatment, it is necessary to strengthen nutritional support, maintain a high-protein diet such as eggs, fish, etc., and supplement appropriate amounts of fresh vegetables and fruits. Avoid spicy and irritating foods and maintain a regular schedule to enhance immunity. After treatment, regular gynecological examinations, HPV testing and imaging follow-up are performed, and timely intervention is performed if signs of recurrence are found.
