After May Day, people heard the footsteps of summer more and more clearly. As the weather temperature increased, ladies put on beautiful skirts and put the thick clothes that wrapped themselves in the wardrobe. Various ice cream cold drinks are even more popular among ladies, who are always looking for something refreshing for themselves.
Beijing Haidian women and children health care Hospital Dr. Bai of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology said that while ladies are enjoying the coolness, due to the influence of physiological factors, they often have Dysmenorrhea、Gynecology Inflammation and other symptoms. Because the pores are enlarged during menstruation, Uterus Endometrium peels off and bleeds, there are fresh wounds in the uterine cavity, the cervix is slightly open, the acidity of the vagina is reduced, and the ability to defend against germs is greatly reduced. Various bacteria can easily invade the body and cause inflammation; moreover, catching cold in the lower body during menstruation will reduce the body's resistance and lead to colds. cold , or even cause oligomenorrhea or sudden cessation of menstruation. Therefore, wading in rivers, sitting on wet grass, being exposed to rain, catching cold, etc. can cause blood stasis and cause dysmenorrhea.
Menstruation is vaginal bleeding caused by cyclic changes in ovarian hormones, which cause the uterine lining to shed periodically. After puberty, the ovaries gradually develop under the stimulation of gonadotropins secreted by the hypothalamus and pituitary gland. Under the action of pituitary follicle-stimulating hormone, follicles gradually grow, mature, and secrete a large amount of estrogen. Under the action of estrogen, the endometrium proliferates and becomes thicker, showing changes in the proliferative phase. Under the action of luteinizing hormone, mature follicles rupture and release eggs. After ovulation, the follicles form the corpus luteum, and the luteal cells secrete progesterone. Under the combined action of estrogen and progesterone, the endometrium further proliferates and exhibits secretory phase changes due to the secretion of its glandular epithelial cells. If the egg is not fertilized, the corpus luteum begins to shrink. Generally, the lifespan of the corpus luteum is 14 days on average. After the corpus luteum atrophies, the levels of ovarian estrogen and progesterone drop rapidly, causing the endometrium to lose support and shrink, and fall off due to ischemia and necrosis, resulting in vaginal bleeding, which is commonly known as menstrual cramps.
Women need to take extra care of themselves during menstrual periods. The diet should be light, mild, and easy to digest. Do not overeat raw or cold foods. Try to avoid using a large amount of cold water and drinking cold drinks. Do not overeat spicy food to reduce uterine bleeding. Drink more boiled water, eat more fruits and vegetables, and keep your bowel movements smooth. Stay away from troubles such as dysmenorrhea and make yourself more healthy hapiness.
