Cervical cancer vaccines are mainly used to prevent human papillomavirus infection. Current research has found no clear risks to maternal and infant health from vaccination during lactation. Vaccine components will not affect babies through milk secretion, and the World Health Organization and most national guidelines do not list lactation as a contraindication for vaccination.
