What aspects does first aid and emergency health training include

The core of this type of training is designed around the three goals of "dare to rescue, be able to get started, and be able to avoid danger", covering the entire chain from daily emergency treatment, pre-hospital first aid practice to public incident response, and disaster escape. However, the training focus for different audiences is very different.
I have been doing this for almost five years and have provided training to communities, factories, and schools. When I teach low-grade children in elementary schools, I don’t even mention the depth of CPR compressions. I only teach them how to dial 120 correctly and go to the hospital when someone faints. Looking for adults, and how to lean forward and pat the back when something is stuck in the throat. Last year, there was a second grade child at home. When he saw his grandma being stuck in a glutinous rice ball and unable to speak, he followed the instructions and patted her three times to get the glutinous rice balls out. The parents specially gave us a banner. When training for retired people in the community, the core focus is on high-frequency scenarios such as the Heimlich maneuver, positioning for myocardial infarction, and correct treatment after a fall. An old aunt saved an old neighbor who was stuck in the chess and card room of the community after learning it for half a month. This is because we specially asked everyone to simulate the 120 call for help three times during the practice. She did not panic at the time, and explained the community address and the patient's symptoms in three minutes, without delaying the treatment time.
If you provide training to companies, especially companies that work outdoors, the content is completely different. You have to add the treatment of high-risk outdoor emergencies such as heatstroke, snake bites, and frostbite, as well as pressure bandaging and spinal fixation for trauma. I have received training from a road and bridge company before, and they had a worker before. I fell while working in the field, and my co-workers picked me up casually and sent me to the hospital. I almost misaligned the broken lumbar vertebrae, causing me to become paraplegic. Later, during our training, I spent half a day practicing spinal lamination, and we also updated all their on-board first aid kits with suitable fixation devices. We have never had this kind of secondary injury problem since.
Speaking of which, in the past two years, there was a debate in the industry about whether to teach the general audience how to use AED (automated external defibrillator). One group believed that ordinary people could not remember the process and might make mistakes. It was better to only train professionals. The other group believed that AED itself has full voice guidance and the operating threshold is extremely low. The core is to popularize it." In the past two years, there have been many cases in various places where ordinary people have used AEDs to save patients with myocardial infarction. Now basically all trainings for adults will include AED operation, and will also specifically talk about the exemption clause of good faith rescue in the Civil Code. Otherwise, even if everyone knows how to operate it, they will not dare to use it for fear of taking responsibility, and the learning will be in vain.
In addition to these first aid operations, emergency health content will also cover many points that people usually think are "common sense but easy to make mistakes", such as whether to feed sugar if you are in a coma due to hypoglycemia, whether to apply toothpaste when you are burned, and whether you should raise your head when you have a nosebleed.
Anyway, after doing training for so long, my biggest feeling is that there is never a fixed list of these contents, and they are all adjusted according to the real scenarios of the audience. After all, the purpose of learning these is never to get a perfect score certificate, but to be able to use them when encountering real problems, and even save lives.
