First of all, it must be clear that there is currently no universally recognized clinical menstrual health scoring standard. The 65 points you get are most likely the result of commercial health APPs and women’s health self-assessment tools. You cannot directly determine whether it is normal or not by looking at this value alone. It must be judged based on your actual body reaction.
I usually do science popularization in the women's health community, and I have seen many sisters ask about this kind of score. Most non-clinical practitioners in health management will classify the range of 60-70 points as "the existence of non-pathological minor problems that do not require medical intervention for the time being." The deduction items are basically common situations that everyone encounters: such as menstruation occasionally being advanced or delayed by 3-5 days, slight bloating and low back pain on the first day of pregnancy, some breast swelling and pain before menstruation, and occasional small blood clots. Last week, a girl who had just worked for two years came to ask her with a self-test result of 62 points. She felt a little pain in the first half hour every time she came to visit her aunt. She held a hot water bottle and drank a cup of hot ginger tea and it relieved her. When she went to the hospital to check the gynecological ultrasound and sex hormones, all six items were normal. Even if the score does not look high, it is not considered a physical abnormality at all.
However, I have asked a familiar gynecologist about this type of self-assessment form before, and she had a completely different view, saying that this type of score has basically no clinical reference value. After all, most of the designs of this kind of self-test questions have not been clinically verified on large samples. Temporary work and rest fluctuations and poor moods will often lower scores. Last month, my best friend stayed up late for 8 days in a row to catch up on the quarterly report. Her menstrual period was delayed by 4 days. She scored 63 points in the self-test, which scared her so much that she almost registered. As a result, she adjusted her schedule and went to bed early for half a month. The second month, my aunt came on time, and she scored 79 points in the test again, without any problems. On the contrary, some early gynecological diseases, such as endometrial polyps and mild polycystic ovary syndrome, may only show a slight increase in menstrual flow in the early stage. They may not receive any deductions during the self-assessment, and getting high scores does not mean that they are truly healthy.
You really don’t need to worry too much about this number. To put it bluntly, this kind of self-assessment score is similar to the body fat rate measured by a home body fat scale. It can only be used as a reference for daily status and cannot be used as a basis for diagnosis. If you get 65 points but are not in pain so much that you can't eat and need to take analgesics, you still wet after more than 7 days of menstruation, your menstrual flow is so heavy that the whole night sanitary napkin is soaked in 1-2 hours, or you have irregular bleeding during non-menstrual period, you should usually eat less iced drinks, stay up less late at night, and drink more warm drinks a week before your period. Most of the time, you will be much better after adjusting for two or three cycles. If you already have obvious uncomfortable symptoms, don’t worry about your score. It’s most reliable to go directly to the hospital for a gynecological examination.
