Ordinary healthy women do not need and absolutely cannot take testosterone privately for fitness. They can only use it according to the doctor's advice when the relevant disease is diagnosed and evaluated by a doctor.

I have been in the fitness industry for almost 7 years, and I have seen many girls who are eager to achieve results fall through this trap. A little girl who participated in the amateur women's bodybuilding competition last year secretly took a small dose of synthetic testosterone 3 months before the competition. She indeed lost body fat very quickly, and the lines of her latissimus dorsi muscles were clearer than when she had been training hard for half a year. However, she collapsed half a month before the competition - there was a pile of hardness on the sides of her chin and cheeks. Bangbang suffered from cystic acne, and his voice was mute for almost two weeks and never returned to its original clarity. Even his aunt was delayed for more than 20 days. In the end, he did not dare to compete. He went to the hospital for six hormone tests. The androgen level was nearly three times higher than the normal range. It took more than half a year of treatment to slowly recover.

Of course, this does not mean that testosterone is completely a scourge for women. Clinically, if hypogonadism is diagnosed, the secretion of testosterone in the body is far lower than the normal standard, and problems such as easy fatigue, rapid loss of muscle mass, and severe decrease in sexual desire have appeared. Doctors will also prescribe very low-dose testosterone preparations according to the situation. However, this situation is completely unrelated to the need for fitness and muscle gain, and hormone levels must be reviewed regularly throughout the process. It is impossible for you to buy it yourself and eat it as needed.

Nowadays, many bloggers on the Internet promote the so-called "micro-dose testicular replenishment method for women", saying that as long as the dosage is well controlled, it can quickly increase muscle mass and reduce body fat without side effects. It is purely harmful. The testosterone level in normal women is only 1/10 to 1/20 of that in adult men. This trace level is just enough to maintain normal metabolism, muscle synthesis and physiological needs. Additional exogenous testosterone, even in small doses, can easily disrupt the endocrine balance. Side effects such as thickening of the voice, protruding Adam's apple, hirsutism, and clitoral hypertrophy are irreversible once they occur and cannot be reversed once the drug is stopped.

I would also like to mention that many girls cannot tell the difference between medicinal testosterone and the "female testicle-stimulating supplements" sold on the market. The latter are mostly plants or nutrients such as maca, zinc and magnesium. They can at most help boost training energy. They do not contain testosterone and will not cause the androgens in your body to exceed the normal range. They are completely different from medicinal testosterone, so don't confuse them.

To be honest, fitness is a matter of exchanging time for change. The little lines you gain by relying on exogenous hormones will eventually be paid back by your health. There is really no need to gamble the quality of the rest of your life just for a few months.
