However, a recent study from Harvard University pointed out that women who are thin but have breasts above a D cup are much more likely to develop breast cancer than women with smaller breasts.

After 16 years of investigation, researchers from Harvard University found that if the weight (kilograms) of a thin woman is divided by the square of the height (meters) (i.e. body mass index (BMI)), and the result is less than 25, but she has breasts above a D cup, the risk of breast cancer after menopause will be significantly greater than that of women with an A cup.

The study was conducted among 89,268 women aged 25 to 42. Researchers surveyed their bra cup size, height, weight and body mass index every two years, as well as healthy conditions and lifestyle. Among these people, 803 suffered from menopause before entering menopause. breast cancer

Research also points out that for slender women with breasts above a D cup, the size of the left breast is often slightly larger than the right breast, and breast cancer usually occurs on the left side. For women with a body mass index greater than 25, bust size has nothing to do with the risk of breast cancer.

Although scientists are currently unable to explain the cause of this phenomenon, they believe that the concept of "small but beautiful" female breasts is worthy of admiration.
